Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Location: Addison, TX / Pennington, NJ

Duration: 12–18 months

Employment: W2 only

Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to support an ongoing technology initiative within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver new features and enhancements
• Work across full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and React
• Develop and maintain SOAP/REST services
• Work with Oracle databases, including SQL, packages, triggers, and performance tuning
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise coding, quality, security, and compliance standards
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy backlogs and clear acceptance criteria
• Support production activities and resolve technical issues
• Participate in SDLC, planning, estimation, code reviews, and other engineering practices
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance as a team lead

Required Qualifications:

• 7–8+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with SOAP/REST services
• Experience with Angular and/or React
• Strong Oracle database experience
• Financial services experience
• Experience with Tomcat and/or WebLogic
• Familiarity with SDLC processes
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated career stability
