Role Description

The Personal Lines Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rossford, OH. This position is responsible for managing personal lines accounts, including auto, home, and life insurance policies, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients.

Day-to-day tasks include advising clients on coverage options, processing policy changes, handling renewals, preparing quotes, and assisting with billing and policy servicing. The role also involves responding to client inquiries, resolving issues promptly, collaborating with carriers to secure competitive coverage, and maintaining accurate records in the agency management system.

The Personal Lines Account Manager supports agency growth by identifying cross-selling opportunities and contributing to a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage personal lines insurance accounts, including policy servicing, renewals, and client support.
• Strong client service and communication skills, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and build long-term relationships.
• Organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, accurate data entry, and effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with insurance management systems and common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools).
• Knowledge of personal lines insurance products such as auto, home, and life insurance; prior agency or carrier experience preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Rossford, OH, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a team-focused environment.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license in Ohio (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or industry designations (e.g., CISR, CIC) are a plus.
