Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are required to have at least 4 years’ experience.
- Experience applying structured analytical methods to complex problems involving multiple variables, objectives, constraints, and uncertainties.
- Experience reviewing or assessing data science methods, analytic workflows, model outputs, or technical approaches for rigor, credibility, and decision-support value.
- Proficiency with analytical and technical tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, SQL, SAS, SPSS, machine learning frameworks, and data visualization platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing technical reports, analytic briefings, and visualizations for stakeholders and decision-makers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Operations Research, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related analytical discipline.
- Experience supporting Marine Corps, Navy, or joint warfighting analysis, mission engineering, concept development, experimentation, capability assessments, or requirements development.
- Familiarity with mission engineering methodology, including mission architecture, mission threads, measures and metrics, and scenario-based analysis.
- Experience conducting trade-off studies, sensitivity analysis, optimization, interoperability assessments, operational effectiveness analysis, or mission-level capability evaluations.
- Familiarity with simulation modeling environments, data management practices, and traceable analytic products that support decision-making.
