**Job Responsibilities**

  • Prepare, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data, and develop scalable models using data science and artificial intelligence methods.
  • Build visualizations and analytic products that support audits, investigations, and research.
  • Design and implement statistical, mathematical, and econometric solutions.
  • Lead work in areas such as natural language processing, predictive analytics, machine learning model development, and model lifecycle support.
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear narratives and create documentation for requirements, test plans, user guidance, and training materials.
  • Support project teams by identifying data needs, advising on data quality and access, and developing effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, datasets, summary tables, and analytic tools using relational databases, data lakes, and other data environments.
  • Provide actionable intelligence through independent research, extraction, evaluation, and visualization of relevant data.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stay current on analytic tools and techniques.
  • Troubleshoot existing solutions and assist in developing programming and visualization products.
  • Support data security, system continuity, design reviews, and compatibility assessments.
  • Apply ETL strategies, pattern recognition, and analytical tools to develop and refine existing products.
  • Guide coworkers on data access, quality, storage needs, and analytic tools, and contribute to training efforts.

**Required Skills**

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience writing code in languages such as SQL, Python, R, or JavaScript.
  • Three or more years of experience with machine learning, natural language processing, robotics process automation, artificial intelligence, and advanced statistical methods.
  • Six months or more of experience with AWS or Azure services including Databricks, Data Factory, and Data Lake.
  • Expert proficiency with data science tools, programming languages, IDEs, analytics platforms, open source solutions, commercial tools, and hardware\-based capabilities.
  • Strong experience creating datasets, models, dashboards, visualizations, and interactive reports across business intelligence applications.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, DAX, and data Mash up methods.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, data governance, and related disciplines.
  • Experience with ETL strategies, pattern recognition, ODBC connections, and external data sources.
  • Ability to engineer data analytic solutions from prototype through full implementation.
  • Proven history applying analytical methods to business problems with measurable impact.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, and documentation.

**Desired Skills**

  • Experience with Python, Power BI, Databricks, and similar tools.
  • Experience in law enforcement or audit environments.
  • Experience with Azure and cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Professional certifications in data science or data analytics.
