About this role
Hiring Opportunity – EdTech Customer Success Specialist to Support Implementation, Training, and Adoption of College and Career Readiness Platform
(Remote position with potential for some travel to deliver on-site training)
MaiaLearning (“Maia”) is seeking an entry- or mid-level Customer Success Specialist to lead successful platform adoption across new and existing school, district, and state customers. Primarily serving customers in Pacific, Mountain, and Central US time zones, this role will guide college and career readiness implementations from onboarding through launch and sustained use. This is not a sales position.
This role centers on supporting schools and districts in successfully leveraging the Maia platform to achieve their college and career readiness goals.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
You may be a great fit if you are a former school counselor, college advisor, educator, or EdTech customer success professional, who is extremely tech-savvy and enjoys training adults, managing implementation projects, building relationships, and helping schools achieve meaningful student outcomes.
The successful candidate will quickly learn and become an expert in Maia's evolving platform and serve as a trusted partner to educators, counselors, administrators, and district leaders.
This individual will support implementation projects from onboarding through launch, deliver engaging virtual and in-person training, and provide guidance on leveraging the platform to support college, career, and postsecondary readiness initiatives. Approximately 40% of the role focuses on customer onboarding and implementation, 30% on training delivery, and 30% on ongoing customer support and success management.
This is a remote position and may include occasional travel to provide on-site training to customers. Candidates located in Arizona are preferred; however, candidates in other states willing to work 8:00AM – 5:00PM Pacific Standard Time will be considered.
In this role you will:
- Support customers through on-time implementation, adoption, technical troubleshooting, and ongoing success
- Deliver virtual and in-person training to educators, counselors, and administrators
- Develop training resources, manage project timelines, and ensure key milestones are achieved
- Provide thorough first-line technical support and escalate requests as needed
- Collaborate across teams to meet customer needs and improve the customer experience
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and readiness scores through training and support interactions
- Perform additional duties and special projects as needed
Work Location
This position is remote. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Arizona due to the need for occasional on-site training and support for schools and districts in the region. Qualified candidates located elsewhere in the United States will be considered if they are able to work 8:00AM – 5:00PM Pacific Standard Time and can travel occasionally within the region.
Travel is minimal and typically represents less than 5% of working time.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and technologies
- Demonstrated experience delivering engaging virtual and in-person training, preferably in K–12 education or educational technology
- Strong communication, presentation, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong project coordination and time-management abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to deliver on-site training within the US
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, or similar office and spreadsheet software
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of college and career readiness, counseling, and postsecondary planning
- Experience in K–12 education, school counseling, college advising, educational technology, and/or school administration
- Experience supporting school initiatives, change management, student information systems, and educational technology platforms
