Occupational Therapist (OT) – Job Description

Magic Voice Speech Services is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

The Occupational Therapist will provide individualized, evidence-based therapy services to pediatric patients with developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, motor coordination challenges, and other conditions affecting their ability to participate in daily activities.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children develop independence, improve functional skills, and achieve their developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's developmental and functional needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions targeting fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Address difficulties related to feeding, dressing, grooming, play, and other age-appropriate functional activities within the therapist's scope of competence.
• Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor patient progress.
• Complete evaluations, progress reports, daily treatment notes, and required clinical documentation accurately and on time.
• Educate parents and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards, state regulations, and insurance documentation requirements.
