About this Role – IT Business Analyst

We are looking for a talented IT Business Analyst who has a passion for quality construction. This position develops a thorough understanding of MJE business operations and translates organizational objectives into effective IT solutions.

Working as part of the PMO function within IT, this role partners with business stakeholders across the MJE Group to facilitate requirements gathering, document functional specifications, evaluate existing processes, and drive project intake and scoping to support organizational goals.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct structured discovery sessions and workshops with business stakeholders to identify needs, pain points, and improvement opportunities across departments; ensure business requirements are clearly defined before development begins
• Document detailed business and functional requirements, process flows, and specifications that inform project scope, timeline, and resource planning
• Validate requirements gathering by ensuring completeness and clarity; provide feedback on requests to support project planning and development
• Collaborate with the PMO on project intake, scope definition, and planning to ensure business needs drive project priorities and timelines
• Perform gap analysis between current and desired business processes; evaluate emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence; recommend solutions that align with organizational strategy
• Support IT implementations and process improvements by coordinating testing activities, managing user acceptance testing (UAT), validating system functionality, and assisting with production deployments
• Participate in post-implementation reviews and support change management to ensure successful user adoption of new systems and processes
• Document lessons learned and maintain knowledge repository for future projects and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to facilitate discussions and work across organizational levels
• Knowledge of IT project lifecycle and how business changes translate into technical work
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and how AI can improve business processes
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, organized specifications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools (Power BI, Databricks, or similar)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
• 1-3 years of business analysis or project coordination is preferred.
