Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We’re growing at Lucent Psych, and I’m looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to grow with us.

As CEO, I care deeply about the experience we create for our patients and the people caring for them. Having time to listen, someone to turn to with a difficult case, and room for life outside of work matters.

That’s what we want this role to offer.

You’ll work closely with Dr. Andrea Ancer Leal, DNP, PMHNP-BC, LMSW, our founder and Chief Clinical Operations leader, who also serves as a Courtesy Faculty Preceptor at Yale School of Nursing. Weekly mentorship and case consultations mean you’ll have space to ask questions, work through complex cases, and continue building your confidence while maintaining clinical autonomy.

Here’s what the role looks like:

• $120,000 base salary, plus up to $30,000 in quarterly bonuses
• Medical, dental, and vision benefits
• Four 10-hour workdays each week
• 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-ups, with no double-booking
• PTO, paid holidays, and sick leave
• Remote work, with occasional visits to our office in The Woodlands, Texas, as needed for patient care or regulatory requirements

You’ll care for adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar spectrum conditions, with an approach that considers the whole person and brings therapy-informed thinking to medication management.

We’re looking for a Texas-licensed PMHNP who values thoughtful care, strong documentation, and a team where people support one another. Someone in the Houston or The Woodlands area would be an ideal fit, given the occasional need to be in the office due to future regulations.
