THE WORK:

• You’ll develop and review cost estimates in accordance with AACE Class 1–5 standards and standardized Bridges & Tunnels (B&T) methodologies, using tools including Bluebeam and RS Means Online to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.
• You’ll prepare change order estimates and bid analyses, compare estimated values against post-bid outcomes, and provide estimating support for value engineering, constructability reviews, indirect rate analysis, and personal services contracts.
• You’ll design, develop, and oversee Microsoft Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, linking data from IMPACT, PeopleSoft, Primavera P6, and other platforms to improve estimating, scheduling, reporting, and data visualization.
• You’ll build advanced Excel models using pivot tables, macros, and VBA scripts and apply AI prompt engineering to automate workflows, enhance data analysis, and improve estimating and scheduling processes.
• You’ll establish and optimize SQL databases and customize SharePoint sites to support efficient project-data storage, retrieval, reporting, collaboration, and information sharing.
• You’ll integrate estimating, scheduling, and reporting platforms into cohesive digital systems, including migrating B&T estimating data into the new HCSS database structure libraries being developed by MTA Construction & Development.
• You’ll apply CPM scheduling methodology to connect data structures across Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Planner, and other B&T internal platforms and support B&T estimating and digital systems needs.

This role is site specific and embedded with the client in New York, NY 10004, with project site visits as required.

Every role here has some in-person time — for collaboration, for learning, and because capital projects happen in physical places. We'll be as flexible as we can around how you make that work.

$150,000 - $200,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience preparing construction estimates and using construction estimating software such as Bluebeam or RS Means Online, including at least 5 years applying AACE Class 1–5 estimating standards
• Minimum 5 years of experience estimating personal services contracts and reviewing estimates for compliance with the scope of work defined in contract documents
• Minimum 4 years of experience using Power Platform and Power BI to develop digital project or program management systems, including demonstrated experience linking Power Platform data with server systems such as IMPACT, PeopleSoft, or Primavera P6

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Master’s Degree in a related field, Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) certification or equivalent, or AACE certification such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Certified Estimating Professional (CEP)
• Experience supporting MTA, MTA Bridges & Tunnels, MTA Construction & Development, or a similar large public transportation or infrastructure agency, including familiarity with MTA policies, procedures, or project delivery frameworks
• Experience with HCSS or similar estimating database platforms, SQL database administration, SharePoint site administration, estimating data structure libraries, or transferring data between databases and structure libraries
• Experience preparing change order estimates, bid analyses, and indirect rate analyses, performing value engineering and constructability reviews on bridge, tunnel, or heavy civil projects, or translating complex estimating and schedule data into dashboards, reports, and executive-level presentations
