We believe our employees are the key to our success and are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven professional to help grow our Des Moines market.

In this outside sales role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of foodservice accounts, develop new business, and build lasting partnerships with restaurant owners, chefs, and other foodservice decision-makers. You will have the independence to manage your territory, supported by an experienced team across sales, purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and customer service.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Experience in sales, account management, business development, foodservice, restaurants, or hospitality is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, listening, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivation, organization, follow-through, and a competitive drive to win new business.
  • Willingness to prospect, make cold calls, handle rejection, and pursue new opportunities.
  • Passion for helping customers succeed and providing excellent service.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to pass a motor vehicle check and background check.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers through in-person visits and electronic communication.
  • Identify, prospect, and cold call potential foodservice customers; maintain an active new-business pipeline.
  • Manage and grow your territory by developing sales plans, identifying opportunities, and tracking results.
  • Introduce new products and solutions to customers, increasing sales within existing accounts.
  • Partner with restaurant owners, chefs, and operators to understand their needs and provide valuable solutions.
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns, helping resolve product and order issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to deliver a positive customer experience.

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN AS A LOFFREDO TEAM MEMBER

  • Competitive base salary plus commission and vehicle reimbursement.
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits available the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
  • 401(k) with company match available after six months of employment.
  • Voluntary life and disability insurance options.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Biweekly pay or optional DailyPay access to earned wages.
  • Regular performance feedback, coaching, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Generous employee purchase program for fresh produce to take home to your family.
