Standard Job Description As part of the Space Software Product Line (SSPL) team, you will play a key role delivering Space Vehicle (SV) and payload flight software (FSW) toward our continued success. Our team delivers on-board functionality, thoroughly tested, and flight ready. Our support doesn’t end at launch – we are available for our customers throughout operations and sustainment phases.

Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Professional Software Engineer within the Space Software Product Line (SSPL) you will contribute to our mission by:
- Collaborate in the design of code implementations
- Develop and test software as part of a larger Agile execution team
- Contribute to peer code review and merge approval
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in C++ programming language
- Demonstrated experience with Linux Operating Systems
- Experience working in an Agile Environment
- Strong analytical/problem solving abilities
- Effective communication for cross-team coordination
Desired Skills
- Knowledge/experience in a Version Control System (Git)
- Experience with one or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, HTML
- Experience using automated unit testing frameworks
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
