As a growing national and international brand, we create high-quality products made with human-grade ingredients and prioritize education to empower pet parents and retail partners with the knowledge to make informed choices about pet wellness.

Through our partnerships with independent retailers worldwide, we help pets and their people enjoy more good days together

Position Profile

We are seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven Sales Operations & Account Manager to support our growing sales organization while maintaining and developing strong retail customer relationships throughout the established Northwest market.

This position combines outside sales and retail account management, inside sales development, sales operations, and cross-functional business support.

Working closely with the Co-Founder and outside sales team, this individual will play an important role in maintaining existing retail partnerships, increasing sales within established accounts, identifying untapped market opportunities, and strengthening the effectiveness of the overall sales organization.

The position will spend meaningful time in the field visiting existing retail partners, identifying opportunities for account growth, providing product education, and strengthening customer relationships. In addition, this individual will proactively manage direct-buying retail accounts, support sales operations, maintain CRM integrity, and serve as an important liaison between sales, marketing, and production.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-directed professional who combines strong sales instincts and relationship-building skills with excellent organizational, communication, and operational abilities and looking to be apart of a fast-growing small team with future development opportunities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Outside Sales & Account Development: Conduct monthly visits to retail partners throughout the Northwest, strengthen existing relationships, identify opportunities to increase account sales, introduce products and promotions, provide retail staff training, and identify new business opportunities within established markets.
  • Inside Sales & Customer Relationships: Proactively communicate with direct-buying retailers, generate reorders, support new customer onboarding, provide product education, communicate promotions, and ensure consistent customer follow-up and support.
  • Sales Operations & Team Support: Support the Co-Founder and sales team through CRM management, sales reporting and analysis, pipeline tracking, account follow-up, sales meeting preparation, and ongoing process improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, and production to communicate customer and sales team needs, coordinate promotions and product launches, support inventory planning, and improve the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in sales, account management, sales support, or sales operations.

Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and support account growth.

Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting, and general business technology.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.

Comfortable with outbound sales calls, retail visits, and providing product education and training.

Ability and willingness to travel monthly throughout the Northwest region, including occasional overnight stays.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the pet industry, pet nutrition, natural products, or holistic wellness.
  • Familiarity with independent pet retailers, specialty retail, or wholesale distribution.
  • Experience working within a small, growing, or entrepreneurial company.
