Physical Therapist PRN Inpatient Rehab

Role: Physical Therapist

Responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury.
• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
• Implement and adjust treatment activities, provide patient and family education, and facilitate follow-up care.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions in accordance with departmental standards.
• Maintain ethical practices, confidentiality, punctuality, and professional appearance.
• Communicate effectively with team members, participate in staff meetings, and organize workload efficiently.
• Promote positive patient experiences using customer service principles and foster teamwork and respect.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, complete required certifications, and support new employee training.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Valid licensure and certifications, including CPR/BLS, required upon hire.
• Effective communication, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills.
