Role: Physical Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity. Services are provided across the continuum in a cost-effective, quality-focused, and patient-centered manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to develop and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies based on patient needs.
- Care Delivery: Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities, and adjust based on patient and family input. Educate patients and provide discharge instructions and referrals.
- Documentation: Record evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information following departmental guidelines.
- Professional and Ethical Conduct: Uphold high ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, punctuality, and dress code, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Customer Service & Teamwork: Deliver respectful, positive interactions using AIDET principles, foster teamwork, and support service recovery principles.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education, complete required competencies, and participate in training and orientation activities.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy).
- Required licenses and certifications include physical therapy licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Effective communication skills, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency.
