Physical Therapist PRN

Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Services are delivered across the full continuum with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and revises treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and physicians.
• Provides patient education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
• Performs patient assessments, establishes treatment goals, and evaluates progress.
• Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans per departmental standards.
• Acts as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and maintains confidentiality.
• Participates in professional development, mandatory training, and team activities.
• Fosters a positive environment, demonstrates excellent communication, and applies customer service principles.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate, Masters, or Bachelors in Physical Therapy.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist and certification in Basic Life Support.
• Effective communication, teamwork, customer service skills, and basic computer proficiency.
