Physical Therapist FT Days

Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformities in patients with injuries or diseases. They provide care across the continuum, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and revises treatment plans with patient and family input, providing education and discharge instructions.
• Collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans.
• Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and family education according to departmental guidelines.
• Ensures adherence to ethical standards, maintains confidentiality, and communicates effectively with team members.
• Participates in staff meetings, training, and process improvements, and promotes excellent customer service using AIDET principles.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and complies with institutional policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licenses and certifications needed are PT (Physical Therapist) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Skills required include effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer literacy.
