Physical Therapist

**Role:** The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and interventions within an interdisciplinary environment. They are responsible for program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and enhancing productivity in a collaborative manner.

**Supervises:** Positions such as Physical Therapy Assistant and Home Health Aids.

**Qualifications \& Skills:** Requires ability to perform duties with or without accommodations, lift loads up to 50 pounds, and have sufficient strength, mobility, and stamina for frequent location and position changes. Must be able to handle emergency situations, wear protective gear, and work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, and irregular hours.

Physical activities involve sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.

**Physical \& Visual/Hearing Requirements:** Must have corrected vision and clear hearing with assistance. Ability to perform essential physical activities and tolerate various environmental conditions are necessary.
