Role Overview: A physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Services are delivered across the continuum with a focus on quality, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and revise treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families, providing education, discharge instructions, and referrals.
- Conduct patient assessments, establish and evaluate treatment programs, and set realistic discharge goals.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge plans according to departmental guidelines.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality, punctuality, and proper communication.
- Foster excellent customer service by applying AIDET principles, encouraging teamwork, and creating a positive environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, mandatory education, and training activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to organizational policies and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Licenses and certifications: Physical Therapist license and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, team collaboration, and basic computer skills.
