Occupational Therapist – Part-Time

Role Overview

This position is for a licensed or registered Occupational Therapist (OT) providing skilled occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include establishing treatment plans, delivering therapy, considering discharge needs, and selecting appropriate equipment.

The role involves educating and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members, making referrals as needed, and delegating tasks to assistants, techs, and students. Accurate documentation and assessments are essential.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Occupational Therapist License
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Key Duties

• Provide patient evaluations, treatments, and reassessments
• Develop and modify treatment plans based on patient progress
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and educate patients and families
• Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure documentation compliance
• Participate in professional development and growth opportunities

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is advantageous but not required.
