Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients’ daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
Key Duties
Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, set goals, and develop discharge strategies. Implement therapy activities, educate patients and families, and provide follow-up and community referrals. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions adhering to departmental guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must hold a degree from an accredited occupational therapy program, with licensure as an Occupational Therapist, and certification in BLS.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license and private vehicle insurance are required for travel.
Skills
- Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, basic computer proficiency, and ability to operate a personal vehicle.
- Demonstrates professionalism, maintains confidentiality, and adheres to ethical practices.
