Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients’ daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
Key Duties:
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
- Implement therapeutic activities, monitor progress, and adjust plans based on patient and family input.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information per departmental protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical practices.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development.
- Utilize resources safely and cost-effectively, adhering to infection prevention protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid occupational therapist license, BLS certification, Georgia driver’s license, and private vehicle insurance are required.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to operate a personal vehicle and travel to patients and facilities as needed.
