Role: The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity, ensuring care is cost-effective, quality-focused, and compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies tailored to patient needs.
- Treatment Planning and Care: Implement and adjust therapy plans, select appropriate activities, provide patient and family education, and deliver discharge instructions and referrals.
- Documentation: Record evaluations, treatment sessions, family education, and discharge details according to departmental guidelines.
- Professional Conduct: Uphold ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, punctuality, and adhere to dress code and safety protocols.
- Customer Service & Teamwork: Foster a positive environment, communicate effectively, demonstrate respect, support teamwork, and apply service recovery principles.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education, complete required competencies, and assist in training new staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
