Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Role Overview:

We are seeking a

full-time Occupational Therapist

with

certified hand therapy

experience to join a multidisciplinary outpatient team. This position involves

evaluating and treating patients

with various physical impairments affecting work and leisure activities. The therapist will

develop treatment plans, educate patients and families,

and collaborate with healthcare providers, delegating tasks to assistants and students as appropriate. Responsibilities include providing assessments, consultations, and treatments aligned with clinical guidelines, as well as participating in staff development and process improvement projects.

**Qualifications & Skills:**

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-5 years of experience
• Board Certification and Licensure in relevant area
• Strong communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
• Preference for Master’s Degree

**Key Duties:**

• Establishing treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional outcomes
• Providing patient education, making referrals, and working with healthcare teams
• Delegating interventions to assistants based on skill level
• Engaging in clinical assessments, consultations, and program development
