About this role

Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.

**Pediatric Occupational Therapist — In\-Home, Private Pay, Part\-Time**

**$75 to $95 per visit, based on experience · Memorial, Bellaire, River Oaks, and the Heights**

We're a private\-pay pediatric practice in Houston. No insurance, no authorizations, no productivity quota. Families pay us directly for 90\-day plans of care, which means you get real time with each kid and their parent instead of a billing code.

I'm an SLP and I've run this practice for eleven years. About a third of my speech families have needed OT the whole time, and I've been sending that work to other people. I'd rather build it here.

**What you'd actually be doing**

You see kids in their own homes. Sessions are 40 minutes. You evaluate, you build the plan, you treat, and you coach the parent so the work continues after you leave.

Notes are written at the visit and signed by the caregiver, so nothing follows you home.

**What you would not be doing**

Finding your own clients. I handle marketing, the discovery call, and enrollment. Scheduling and billing are handled.

You're handed a caseload and your days stay short because clients are clustered in your own neighborhoods.

**Pay**

$75 to $95 per completed 40\-minute visit, depending on experience. At 40 minutes a visit, that works out to roughly $107 to $143 per hour of treatment time.

Where you land in that range depends on your pediatric experience, your certifications, and whether you're taking on evaluations from the start.

On top of the visit rate:

  • Evaluations pay 1\.5x your visit rate, and 2x if the family enrolls in a program
  • A bonus every time a family completes a 90\-day plan of care
  • Your rate steps up above 20 visits in a week
  • 401k with a 5% company match
  • We carry your professional liability

Start with one client a week if you want. There's no minimum.

**Where this goes**

I want the first OT here to end up running the OT side, with OTAs underneath and paid on their work. If that sounds like a reason to get up in the morning, say so when you apply.

**You need**

Current Texas OT license and NBCOT certification. Pediatric experience. A car and a clean driving record.

Comfortable working in family homes and coaching parents, not just treating kids.

Nice to have: sensory integration, feeding, early intervention, or Spanish.

**To apply**

Tell me about one kid whose progress you're proud of and why. That tells me more than a resume.

Pay: $75\. 00 \- $95\. 00 per hour

Expected hours: 1\. 0 – 5\. 0 per week

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
  • Flexible schedule
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • Referral program

Work Location: In person
