LHH is partnering with an innovative financial technology company to hire a
UX/UI Designer
. This role will support the Product and Engineering teams by creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. Working closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders, the UX/UI Designer will lead the design process from research and wireframing through visual design and implementation, helping deliver seamless customer experiences in a fast-paced technology environment.
The company is seeking a creative and detail-oriented candidate for this
temporary opportunity 3x onsite/week in Mountain View, CA
. This role offers a competitive pay rate between
$50-$60 per hour
depending on experience and is expected to support key product initiatives and user experience enhancements.
What you will do:
- Lead UX/UI design projects from concept through delivery, creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product improvements and enhanced user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into intuitive digital solutions.
- Design responsive web and mobile experiences with a strong focus on accessibility, usability, and visual consistency.
- Maintain and evolve design systems, component libraries, and brand standards to ensure consistency across products.
- Present design concepts, gather stakeholder feedback, and iterate quickly based on user insights and project requirements.
What you will bring:
- 4+ years of UX/UI design experience supporting digital products within the technology, software, SaaS, or fintech industries.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing.
- Proficiency with Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams in agile development environments.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, interaction design, and responsive design best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
