Our team leverages data, analytics, and emerging technologies to develop innovative solutions that help customers make informed decisions, improve risk assessment, and drive business value across the insurance and automotive industries.
Working with a wide range of data sources, including vehicle, ownership, telematics, mobility, tabular, time series, aerial imagery, and video data, we uncover insights, develop analytical products, and apply a range of techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and generative AI, to solve real-world challenges.
We partner closely with Product, Data Acquisition, Analytics, and business stakeholders to evaluate data sources, develop customer-focused solutions, and deliver actionable insights that support product innovation, operational excellence, and business growth.
As part of the team, you'll collaborate with experienced data scientists, analysts, and AI practitioners while gaining hands-on experience with data analytics, visualization, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions that transform data into meaningful outcomes.
About the Role
As a Data Science Intern, you will contribute to real-world analytics and artificial intelligence projects while developing technical and business skills through hands-on learning and collaboration. You will work with data from a variety of sources, identify trends and insights, support analytical models, create dashboards and visualizations, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Depending on business priorities and your interests, projects may involve machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, computer vision, vehicle intelligence, telematics, mobility trends, risk prediction, data quality, business reporting, or other advanced analytics initiatives.
You will also gain exposure to how analytical solutions progress from research and experimentation to customer-focused products and production environments.
This internship offers an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that apply data science, analytics, and AI to real business challenges. You'll gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, build valuable technical and business skills, and contribute to solutions that help customers make smarter decisions across the insurance and automotive industries.
- Program Dates: May 24 – July 30, 2027
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Location: On-site in Alpharetta, GA. Candidates should be able to work on-site for the duration of the internship.

- Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must be currently enrolled undergraduate students with an expected graduation date of May 2028.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems and sources.
- Identify trends, patterns, gaps, and opportunities that support business and product decisions.
- Assist with analytical experiments and the development, testing, and improvement of data science and machine learning solutions.
- Contribute to projects involving artificial intelligence, vehicle intelligence, telematics, mobility, imagery, video, risk prediction, or business analytics.
- Evaluate data sources for quality, coverage, usability, relevant attributes, and potential business applications.
- Develop reports, dashboards, visualizations, and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
- Support the documentation, validation, deployment, and continuous improvement of analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders on customer-focused and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Be a current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field, with an expected graduation date of May 2028.
- Demonstrate an interest in data science, analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, or emerging technologies.
- Have experience working with data through coursework, academic projects, research, student organizations, personal projects, volunteer experiences, or prior internships.
- Have familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar tools used for data analysis and problem-solving.
- Possess foundational knowledge of statistics, data analysis, machine learning, data visualization, or data quality concepts.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and develop meaningful insights.
- Communicate findings clearly through written materials, presentations, visualizations, and data storytelling.
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively while learning new technologies and adapting to evolving priorities.
