Compliance Manager – Massachusetts Cannabis Operations

Position Overview

Tandem Tonic Inc. is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance for our Massachusetts cannabis manufacturing and distribution operations.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations, experience working in the regulated cannabis industry, and the ability to manage day-to-day compliance while supporting a fast-paced, growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable Massachusetts CCC regulations, state laws, and company policies.
• Oversee METRC inventory tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate compliance records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory documentation.
• Manage regulatory inspections, audits, reporting requirements, and corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary operational updates.
• Oversee compliance related to manufacturing, packaging, labeling, testing, storage, transportation, and distribution.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and identify areas for improvement.
• Train employees on compliance requirements, procedures, and best practices.
• Work closely with leadership and operations teams to maintain a culture of accountability and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for regulatory compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of compliance experience in the Massachusetts regulated cannabis industry required.
• Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts CCC regulations and METRC.
• Experience with cannabis manufacturing operations preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret regulations and translate requirements into practical operational procedures.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Must meet all Massachusetts CCC requirements for employment in a licensed cannabis establishment.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
