About this role

Enterprise Account Executive

Department: Sales

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

Your Impact

This role will grow LearnQuest’s established technology training and certification business while developing enterprise AI workforce transformation opportunities.

The successful candidate will engage business, HR, learning, and technology leaders to understand how AI is changing work, identify workforce capability and adoption needs, and collaborate with LearnQuest specialists and partners to shape phased programs with measurable business outcomes.

They will build new client relationships, expand existing accounts, and develop opportunities from initial discovery through pilot engagements and broader enterprise adoption.

The successful candidate will be an experienced consultative sales professional who demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, creativity, and accountability. The individual must be capable of developing opportunities where requirements are not yet fully defined, navigating complex organizations, engaging business and technical stakeholders, and coordinating appropriate LearnQuest and partner resources to advance opportunities.

Experience positioning AI workforce enablement solutions and engaging stakeholders responsible for AI adoption, talent development, technology transformation, and organizational readiness is strongly preferred.

Core Responsibilities

Solutions-Based Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new enterprise and government opportunities through targeted prospecting, account research, partner engagement, referrals, professional networking, social selling, and other appropriate outreach activities, with specific emphasis on organizations pursuing AI adoption and workforce enablement initiatives.
  • Conduct structured discovery discussions to assess client business objectives, AI and technology priorities, workforce readiness, skills gaps, stakeholder requirements, purchasing processes, budget considerations, and measures of success.
  • Identify priority workflows, adoption barriers, and workforce readiness needs within client organizations, and work with LearnQuest specialists and partners to develop phased programs that progress from pilot engagements to broader enterprise adoption.
  • Identify and engage executive sponsors, and help clients build the business case for workforce transformation by defining target outcomes and measures of success, such as adoption, proficiency, productivity, and work quality.
  • Translate identified client requirements into tailored LearnQuest learning solutions, including AI workforce enablement programs that support role-based capability development, responsible adoption, and alignment with defined business outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver solution recommendations, proposals, presentations, quotations, and commercial approaches for complex opportunities.
  • Manage opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle, including qualification, stakeholder alignment, solution development, proposal preparation, negotiation, contracting, and closure.
  • Independently generate and maintain a qualified sales pipeline and establish clear, documented next steps for active opportunities.

Strategic Account Management & Growth

  • Serve as the primary commercial relationship owner for assigned accounts and establish long-term, professional relationships across relevant functions and organizational levels.
  • Develop and maintain account plans that document client priorities, key stakeholders, decision-makers, influencers, growth opportunities, competitive considerations, and defined account-development actions.
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying opportunities across additional teams, business units, geographic regions, AI and technology initiatives, and workforce-development requirements.
  • Maintain regular, relevant client communication regarding market developments, emerging requirements, and LearnQuest’s portfolio of capabilities.
  • Coordinate with delivery, operations, finance, and support functions to establish clear expectations and support client satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Solution Development & Collaboration

  • Coordinate internal subject-matter experts, delivery resources, technology partners, and leadership to develop credible and differentiated client solutions, including enterprise AI workforce enablement programs.
  • Analyze incomplete or evolving client requirements and document the business need, recommended approach, proposed scope, key assumptions, and required next steps.
  • Develop solutions that are relevant to client requirements, operationally deliverable, scalable, and commercially viable.
  • Collaborate with global sales colleagues to share relevant information, align account strategies, and coordinate multi-region opportunities.
  • Provide client and market feedback to support the continued improvement of LearnQuest offerings, messaging, and delivery approaches.

Sales Discipline & Market Presence

  • Develop and execute territory, account, and opportunity plans aligned with assigned revenue, margin, and quota objectives.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of pipeline activity, forecasts, contacts, next steps, and opportunity details in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or a comparable CRM platform.
  • Use Microsoft 365, LinkedIn, partner resources, and available account intelligence to conduct research, identify stakeholders, and advance qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of LearnQuest offerings, technology partners, AI workforce enablement solutions, enterprise learning trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Represent LearnQuest professionally at client and partner meetings, conferences, and industry events. Travel of approximately 25–30% may be required based on business needs.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in enterprise business development, solutions sales, and strategic account management, preferably within IT training, workforce development, professional services, cloud, AI, software, or related technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in independently generating qualified pipeline, securing new business, and expanding complex enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated success selling complex, consultative solutions tied to business change, including applying consultative discovery methods to align client challenges with tailored, multi-component solutions. Direct experience selling AI adoption, AI workforce enablement, or workforce transformation programs is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate enterprise buying cycles and develop stakeholder support across business, technology, data and AI, learning and development, human resources, procurement, and executive functions.
  • Strong commercial judgment and demonstrated capability in opportunity qualification, business-case development, proposal development, negotiation, forecasting, and closing.
  • Practical AI fluency, including a working understanding of how AI is changing roles and workflows and the ability to discuss AI adoption credibly with business, HR, learning, and technology leaders.
  • Comfortable using AI in day-to-day sales work, including account research, meeting preparation, and proposal development, with sound judgment about verifying accuracy and protecting customer information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM, prospecting, collaboration, and productivity tools. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft 365, and LinkedIn is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving ability, with the capacity to establish priorities and work effectively in a remote environment.
