Job Overview The Commercial Strategy - Home team uses insights and analysis to develop commercialization and go-to-market plans for the Home portfolio across the U. S. and Canada.

The team brings together strategy, data, and business intelligence to identify opportunities and guide commercial decisions. It partners across Retail, eCommerce, and cross-functional teams to align priorities and support execution. The team also helps shape new product commercialization and launch readiness.

Together, the team turns business performance and market insights into clear actions that drive growth.

As a member of the Commercial Strategy team, the Associate Manager, Business Intelligence & Insights - Home leads business intelligence and performance analytics across Retail and eCommerce in North America. This role transforms syndicated, customer, eCommerce, and internal data into scalable reporting, actionable insights, and clear business narratives that support commercial decision-making.

Serving as the Home Channel subject-matter expert for syndicated data and analytical tools, the role partners with Commercial Strategy, Customer Development, Marketing/Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, eCommerce, and HQ BI teams to diagnose performance, identify risks and opportunities, and strengthen analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end analysis of Home Channel performance across U.S. Retail, Canada, and eCommerce, from total market to customer/banner level, identifying drivers related to distribution, velocity, assortment, pricing, and promotion.
  • Integrate syndicated, customer, eCommerce, sell-in, sell-out, and internal data to diagnose performance trends, shipment-versus-consumption gaps, forecast risks, and commercial opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights, recommendations, and clear business narratives that guide customer, channel, and commercial decision-making.
  • Own and continuously improve the Home Channel reporting ecosystem, including scalable dashboards, standardized measures, reporting hierarchies, calculation logic, data validation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Serve as the primary Home Channel business partner to HQ BI teams for the development and ongoing enhancement of Power BI solutions, semantic models, and automated reporting capabilities.
  • Lead analytical development for local and HQ business reviews, partnering with the Senior Manager to define critical business questions and deliver executive-ready insights, visualizations, and presentations.
  • Build eCommerce and Amazon analytical capabilities by developing performance reporting, diagnosing priority business questions, and connecting digital and retail results to identify broader Home Channel trends and opportunities.
  • Evaluate new product development, pricing, promotion, assortment, and distribution opportunities by validating business-case assumptions, assessing customer and channel considerations, and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Establish post-launch performance measurement and collaborate with Commercial Strategy, Customer Development, Marketing/Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, Commercial Data & Enablement, eCommerce, and other stakeholders to recommend corrective actions and improve business outcomes.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial strategy, category management, business intelligence, customer analytics, or a related field; preferably in a CPG industry.
  • Advanced proficiency with Nielsen (NIQ) and/or Circana, Excel, Power BI, syndicated and customer data, data validation and quality assurance, and insight storytelling.
  • Experience with Amazon and eCommerce analytics, Numerator, retailer point-of-sale data, and pricing or promotion analytics is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into clear commercial recommendations and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to review and interpret detailed data, maintain accuracy and attention to detail, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders through written communications, virtual meetings, presentations, and in-person discussions.
