Physical Therapist

Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist, you’ll assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and guide rehabilitation across appropriate care settings. You’ll use your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support safe, purposeful care for people with varied needs, including geriatric patients.

Duties

• Evaluate patient needs and progress; develop and adjust care plans and treatment plans.
• Provide physiotherapy and patient rehabilitation, including appropriate orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and geriatric care.
• Communicate with patients and families about goals, treatment, and progress; collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Complete accurate physical therapy documentation in line with clinical documentation standards, using electronic health records (EHR) or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Deliver care in relevant settings, which may include hospitals, inpatient or acute care, outpatient clinics and rehabilitation centers, and home health or community care.

Requirements

• Practicing in a physical therapy role; applicable licensure or credentials required for the position and jurisdiction.
• Patient care experience and knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Ability to develop treatment plans, communicate clearly with clients, and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Experience with EHR/EMR management and physical therapy documentation.
• Acute care, inpatient, hospital, outpatient, clinic, outpatient rehabilitation, home health, or home and community care experience is valuable. Familiarity with orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and trigger point therapy is also welcome.

Pay: $47.43 - $57.12 per hour
