Registered Nurse Supervisor (Night)

RN Supervisor – Hospital Detox | Acute Care | Med-Surg

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight in a hospital-based acute care and medical detox setting. This role requires strong hospital nursing experience, hands-on leadership, and the ability to support both clinical excellence and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide shift-level supervision of nursing staff in an acute care hospital
• Support and oversee medical detox and inpatient medical units
• Ensure safe staffing, assignments, and patient flow
• Serve as a clinical resource for RNs and ancillary staff
• Monitor patient care delivery and escalate clinical concerns as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, and hospital leadership
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulations
• Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and performance support of nursing staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nevada or compact)
• Hospital nursing experience required
• Experience in acute care and/or medical-surgical (Med-Surg) nursing
• Experience in drug and alcohol detox or substance use disorder treatment
• Prior charge nurse, lead RN, or supervisory experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous RN Supervisor or Nurse Manager experience
• Behavioral health or detox program experience
• BLS required; ACLS preferred

Location Requirement

• Must reside in the Las Vegas, NV metropolitan area

6:45PM-7:15AM with an every other weekend rotation

57/hr.

Shift Differential

Fri -Sun 7p-7a $6.00 M-Th 7p-7a $3.00 Sat-Sun 7a-7p $3.00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57.00 per hour
