**Purpose of the Role**

The IT Manager – US Operations is responsible for leading all local IT operations across US manufacturing sites. The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient IT services that support production and business operations in alignment with global IT strategy and standards.

This position bridges the gap between the global IT organization and the local plant teams, ensuring that global policies, systems, and projects are effectively implemented, while supporting local operational requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1\. IT Operations \& Infrastructure**

  • Manage and lead the local IT team responsible for day\-to\-day IT operations, including infrastructure, user support, and shop\-floor systems.
  • Ensure reliable operation of networks, servers, PCs, printers, and production IT systems across all US locations.
  • Maintain compliance with global IT standards, security policies, and data protection regulations.
  • Oversee vendors and service providers for IT hardware, software, and telecommunications.
  • Monitor and continuously improve IT service delivery, availability, and performance.

**2\. Systems \& Applications Support**

  • Act as the local champion for the company’s core systems, including:
  • **ERP:** Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • **PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)** systems
  • **Lotus Notes** (for legacy systems and workflows)
  • Provide first\-line coordination for application issues, enhancements, and upgrades in collaboration with global IT teams.
  • Support data integrity, system access management, and user training for key systems.

**3\. Project Implementation \& Coordination**

  • Lead local execution of global IT projects, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Provide input to global projects from a US manufacturing perspective.
  • Coordinate IT\-related infrastructure and system changes for production expansions or process changes.

**4\. Governance, Security \& Compliance**

  • Enforce adherence to global cybersecurity policies, data protection regulations, and software licensing requirements.
  • Ensure effective backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
  • Support IT\-related internal and external audits, following up on remediation actions.

**5\. Business Engagement**

  • Act as the primary IT contact for US plant leadership and local business stakeholders.
  • Translate local business needs into IT requirements and communicate them to the global IT organization.
  • Promote digitalization and automation initiatives in line with global IT direction.

**Qualifications \& Experience**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum **7 years of experience in IT operations** with at least **3 years in a manufacturing environment**.
  • Strong understanding of **manufacturing processes** (production, logistics, quality, maintenance).
  • Proven experience managing local IT teams and vendors.
  • Hands\-on experience with:
  • **Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP)**
  • **PLM systems** (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or similar)
  • **Lotus Notes / Domino** environments
  • Solid knowledge of networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and IT security principles.
  • Familiarity with **MES**, **SCADA**, or **shop\-floor integration** is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A **holistic view of IT**, understanding how infrastructure, applications, security, and business processes interconnect.

Pay: $120,000\. 00 \- $140,000\. 00 per year
