Senior Front-End REACT Engineer (AI Product Development)

Our Client is launching a new AI-driven product initiative focused on building a next-generation platform from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, highly collaborative team at the beginning of a greenfield effort that will shape the future direction of a key business portfolio.

We are looking for a Front-End Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, thrives in fast-moving environments, and wants to help define how AI-enabled products are built and delivered.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and building modern user experiences while working closely with engineering, product, UX, and architecture teams.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop modern front-end applications for a new AI-enabled product.
• Work closely with Product Owners, UX designers, engineers, architects, and QA throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Help shape technical decisions, architecture, and front-end best practices.
• Build rich user experiences that integrate with Java-based backend services and APIs.
• Participate in product discovery, solution design, and iterative development.
• Contribute to an evolving engineering culture that incorporates AI-assisted software development.
• Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code and documentation.
• Collaborate across a global organization to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Help establish a scalable foundation for future team growth and product expansion.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience building modern web applications using React or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience participating in the development of enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Understanding of object-oriented development concepts and familiarity with Java-based environments.
• Experience building a new product from the ground up and/or participating in large application modernization or migration initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and work successfully in evolving environments.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Passion for learning new technologies and experimenting with modern development approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack REACT development experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, coding assistants, or LLM-based technologies.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications.
• Exposure to prompt engineering or AI-enabled software workflows.
• Strong understanding of user experience and front-end design principles.
• Experience working closely with Product and UX teams.
• Previous technical leadership, mentoring, or solution ownership experience.
• Familiarity with Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks.

This is a highly collaborative team that works closely with Product, UX, Architecture, and QA partners. The organization is investing heavily in AI-enabled development and is exploring new ways of delivering software faster while maintaining quality and scalability. The team is intentionally starting small, allowing engineers to have a meaningful impact on both the product and engineering direction.
