Job Description

Kodexo Labs is seeking a talented AI Software Developer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent software solutions powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning. The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering fundamentals with practical AI development skills to build scalable applications, integrate AI models, and solve real-world business challenges.

In this role, you will collaborate with software engineers, data specialists, and product teams to develop AI-powered applications, intelligent automation tools, and production-ready software systems. You will contribute to the full development lifecycle, from technical design and prototyping to deployment, testing, and ongoing optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-powered software applications.
• Build and integrate AI models, large language models, and machine learning services into existing applications.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and scalable software components.
• Use Python and modern development frameworks to implement AI functionality.
• Work with databases, data pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Develop solutions involving natural language processing, generative AI, and intelligent automation.
• Evaluate AI model performance, accuracy, reliability, and response quality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain code quality, testing standards, documentation, and software security practices.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of production AI systems.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, AI engineering, or machine learning application development.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common software development practices.
• Understanding of REST APIs, backend development, databases, and application architecture.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and AI model integration.
• Familiarity with large language models, generative AI, or natural language processing.
• Experience with Git, debugging, software testing, and code reviews.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and production deployment workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and manage development priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other machine learning frameworks.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector databases.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with data processing, model evaluation, and AI application monitoring.
• Understanding of AI security, data privacy, and responsible AI development.
• Experience deploying AI-powered applications in production environments.

Compensation

The proposed salary range is $110,000–$150,000 per year. Actual compensation should be confirmed with the employer and aligned with the approved budget, required experience, technical responsibilities, and applicable employment arrangements.
