Job description

About this role

Build Stronger Clinical Skills With Real Mentorship, Orthopedic Experience, and Room to Grow

You became a Physical Therapist to evaluate movement, solve clinical problems, and help people return to the activities that matter to them.

At King Physical Therapy & Fitness, you will build those skills in an outpatient orthopedic and sports environment alongside experienced Physical Therapists who value clinical reasoning, hands-on treatment, progressive exercise, and individualized patient care.

You will treat a diverse orthopedic caseload, develop individualized plans of care, and help patients progress from pain and limitation back to work, sport, fitness, and everyday activity.

If you are a new graduate, you will receive structured mentorship, hands-on clinical guidance, and a gradual caseload ramp-up.

If you are an experienced Physical Therapist, you will have clinical autonomy, collaboration with advanced clinicians, and opportunities to mentor others and move into leadership as the practice grows.

This is an opportunity to become a stronger orthopedic Physical Therapist while building a career with a team invested in your continued development.

Compensation and Benefits

You will receive:

  • $70,000 to $80,000 base salary based on experience
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Full health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid time off
  • Paid parental leave
  • Continuing education reimbursement
  • Advanced clinical training support
  • Structured mentorship and professional development
  • Defined career advancement pathway
  • Full-time outpatient orthopedic schedule
  • No weekends
  • No late nights
  • Clinical autonomy with experienced Physical Therapists available for collaboration
  • Leadership and increased responsibility opportunities as the practice grows

Practice Physical Therapy With Clinical Intent

You will have the opportunity to evaluate each patient, determine what is limiting their movement or function, and build a treatment plan around their individual goals.

Your work may include:

  • Comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
  • Individualized plans of care
  • Orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
  • Manual therapy when clinically appropriate
  • Therapeutic exercise
  • Neuromuscular re-education
  • Progressive strengthening
  • Mobility and movement training
  • Functional rehabilitation
  • Return-to-sport progression
  • Return-to-fitness progression
  • Patient education
  • Objective outcome tracking

You will be trusted to adjust treatment based on patient response, clinical findings, and functional progress rather than simply moving patients through the same protocol.

Build Experience Across a Diverse Orthopedic Caseload

Your caseload may include patients recovering from:

  • Post-operative orthopedic procedures
  • Total joint replacements
  • Sports injuries
  • Spine conditions
  • Shoulder conditions
  • Hip conditions
  • Knee conditions
  • Ankle and foot conditions
  • Complex musculoskeletal conditions
  • Strength and mobility limitations
  • Movement dysfunction
  • Work-related limitations
  • Return-to-sport needs
  • Return-to-fitness goals

Your goal is to help patients build the strength, mobility, confidence, and physical capacity needed for long-term progress.

Learn From Experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapists

You will work alongside clinicians with advanced backgrounds in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports performance, manual therapy, and movement.

The clinical team includes:

  • Dr. Matthew King, fellowship-trained orthopedic manual therapist and two-time Division I All-American wrestler.

You will be part of a clinical environment that values:

  • Clinical reasoning feedback
  • Treatment progression coaching
  • Patient communication guidance
  • Exposure to orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
  • Opportunities to observe experienced Physical Therapists

  • Support pursuing advanced clinical education

You will have room to ask questions, discuss challenging cases, refine your treatment approach, and continue developing your clinical confidence.
