ServiceNow Business Analyst

Job Summary

As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you’ll connect business needs with practical platform and data solutions. You’ll gather and clarify requirements, analyze workflows, and partner with technical teams to shape dashboards, reports, and improvements across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role suits someone who can turn complex information into clear decisions and keep projects moving in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis and requirements analysis, documenting workflows, user needs, and acceptance criteria.
• Support software development lifecycle analysis, project management, and collaboration between business and technical teams.
• Analyze data and design reports and dashboards using business intelligence and data analytics tools.
• Coordinate data model design, database design, linked data, extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, and query management.
• Your impact: Clear requirements and reliable reporting help stakeholders make informed decisions and deliver solutions that better support users.

Skills

• Essential: Business analysis, analysis skills, data analysis skills, SQL, Excel data analysis, Agile, and strong technical proficiency.
• Experience with SQL databases, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, database design, data model design, and ETL is valuable.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, R, Python, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Bash (Unix shell), and Talend is preferred.
• Knowledge of data visualization, dashboard development, reporting and dashboarding tools, business intelligence, analytics, and data analytics tools.
• Ability to use Visio and apply project management and software development lifecycle analysis practices.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
