Part time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for Primary Care Office

Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will provide comprehensive primary care services. This role blends traditional preventive medicine with modern longevity and metabolic optimization practices.

The NP or PA will evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions, develop individualized hormone protocols, monitor treatment response, and collaborate with the clinical team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

KD Medicine & Wellness is also a specialty practice focusing on male and female hormone replacement therapy (HRT). The successful candidate will have an opportunity to learn the specialized practices in addition to peptide therapy.

Core Responsibilities

Primary Care

• Perform comprehensive history, physical exams, and annual wellness visits
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, dyslipidemia)
• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostics
• Develop evidence‑based treatment plans and follow‑up schedules
• Provide patient education on lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, stress, and preventive care
• Coordinate referrals to specialists when clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Patient Experience & Communication

• Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients seeking long‑term optimization
• Communicate clearly and compassionately about treatment plans and expectations
• Provide ongoing support through follow‑ups, messaging, and care coordination
• Maintain a patient‑centered, empathetic, and professional approach
• Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic flow

Qualifications (Required)

• Active MA license, national board certification, DEA license, and MCSR
• Experience in primary care
• Interested in learning male and female Hormone Replacement Therapy

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
