Pediatric Physical Therapist

Job Overview

This is a 1099 contract position. We would love for you to join our experienced collaborative team as a Pediatric Physical Therapist. We currently have hours available for anyone looking for extra hours.

Experience in pediatrics in a private practice setting, supervising and orthotics is desired. We offer an individual work space and an area outside when the weather is nice. There is a beautiful walking trail at our location also.

There is a future need for a OT to cover part-time to full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations which includes familiarity with medicaid and private insurance guidelines.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with client needs and family preferences.
• Collaboration within the clinic with occupational and speech therapists along with other professionals and caregivers to coordinate client care when needed.
• Manage clinical documentation accurately including but not limited to evaluation reports, plans of treatment, progress notes, progress summaries, discharge summaries.
• Strong communications skills to provide information and understanding to caregivers, co-workers, and others as needed.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in accordance with AR state regulations.
• A MPT or DPT degree.
• Experience working with pediatric patients in outpatient clinics and experience in orthopedics .
• Familiarity with managing client documentation standards according to insurance guidelines.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
