As a Product Manager, Vice President in Acquisition Enablement Platform team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value.
Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
You will translate strategy into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, balancing speed-to-market with operational excellence and risk management.
You will coordinate go-to-market readiness with partners, ensuring documentation, training, and support models are in place for a smooth launch and sustained performance. You will champion platform reliability by partnering on non-functional requirements, monitoring, incident learnings, and roadmap investments that improve scalability and stability over time.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Define API requirements and integration needs by understanding platform services, data flows, contracts (e.g., REST/JSON), and downstream/upstream dependencies.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications (functional + non-functional), including performance, resiliency, scalability, observability, and security requirements.
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams—clarifying scope, tradeoffs, sequencing, and acceptance criteria to enable predictable delivery.
- Partner with architects and engineering leaders to evaluate solution options, discuss design choices, and understand platform impacts (e.g., reusability, maintainability, latency, and operational risk).
- Assess and manage platform impacts of product decisions, including dependency management, versioning/backward compatibility, migration considerations, and change management.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand APIs, service integrations, data flows, and to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical specifications and tradeoffs effectively with engineering teams to drive alignment and execution.
- Ability to collaborate with architects and engineers on solution design, including understanding platform impacts (scalability, resiliency, stability, and reliability).
- Data-driven mindset with experience defining success metrics and using dashboards/analytics to measure outcomes (e.g., conversion, adoption, reliability, cost).
- Excellent stakeholder management and influence skills, able to align cross-functional partners around priorities, sequencing, and delivery commitments.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience building or scaling platform products, including API-first and integration-heavy capabilities.
- Familiarity with architecture and design patterns for distributed systems (e.g., microservices, event-driven integrations) and the ability to partner effectively with architects.
- Demonstrated success driving products with a focus on scalability, resiliency, stability, and operational excellence (e.g., monitoring/observability, SLAs/SLOs, incident learnings).
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog management, sprint planning support, and iterative release execution.
