About this role

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic, mobile therapy team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients’ mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care across various settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units, and home health environments. Your expertise in physiotherapy and commitment to patient rehabilitation will help empower individuals of all ages— from pediatrics to geriatrics— to achieve their health goals and regain independence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, neurology interventions, and geriatrics care.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care strategies.
  • Manage discharge planning processes and ensure seamless transitions between care settings while adhering to clinical documentation standards.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and medical terminology documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment exercises, home care routines, and community resources to promote ongoing recovery outside the clinical setting.
  • Participate in outpatient rehabilitation center activities, inpatient services, or home & community care programs based on departmental needs.

Experience

  • Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units, or home health environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in treatment plan development for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, neurology cases, orthopedics, and geriatrics.
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate patient care documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy.
  • Experience working with acute care settings and managing complex cases requiring discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while providing compassionate patient care tailored to individual needs.
  • Prior outpatient rehabilitation center experience or hospital experience is highly desirable.

Pay: From $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
