Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing specialized pediatric occupational therapy services aimed at improving the daily functioning and quality of life for children. The Occupational Therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions tailored to each child's unique needs.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments for pediatric patients to evaluate their developmental, sensory, motor, and cognitive abilities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings to address specific challenges faced by children.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and support for each child.
- Monitor progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Educate families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support ongoing development at home and in school environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric occupational therapy practices through continuing education and professional development.
Skills
- Proven experience in pediatric occupational therapy with a focus on assessments and intervention planning.
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones, sensory integration techniques, and therapeutic modalities relevant to children.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to develop creative and individualized therapy programs tailored to each child's needs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and progress tracking.
- Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and development.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
