**TITLE:** Graphic Designer

**JOB STATUS:** Full Time – In Office

**POSTION OVERVIEW:** Joy Carpets is seeking a passionate, creative, and responsible graphic designer to join its creative team. Associate Designer will work closely with Designer \& Marketing Manager to provide support to Joy Carpets' sales, marketing, and product development initiatives. Responsibilities include the following:

• Creation, processing, and cataloging of product and lifestyle photography
• Assist in development of marketing collateral and sales tools
• Assist in processing of new carpet and rug designs
• Assist in website maintenance and operation of photography studio
• Assist in planning social media strategies and creating original, on\-brand content

Candidate must be a creative thinker, able to learn and work in a hands\-on, team oriented, business environment, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of carpet and rug industry and willingness to participate in periodic convention travel is preferred.

**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:** Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related fine arts field

**PREFERRED CONCENTRATIONS:** Graphic design, illustration, photography

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of color and design fundamentals
• Proficient in digital image creating and editing
• Proficient in illustration
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel

**PREFERRED INTERESTS:** Carpet and area rug design, marketing, advertising, photography

**EXPERIENCE:** Minimum 3 years preferred but not required

**COMPENSATION:** Commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: $17\. 00 \- $20\. 00 per hour

Expected hours: 40\. 0 per week
