About this role
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) — Pediatric & Adolescent Focus
Journey Psychiatry & Behavioral Health | Pediatric & Family Center Trinity / New Port Richey, Florida
Award-winning practice. Growing pediatric program. A team with purpose.
Join a Tampa Bay “Best of the Best” award-winning practice! Journey Psychiatry & Behavioral Health earned bronze recognition in both Group Practice and Holistic Practice, and we’re continuing to grow our impact on the families we serve.
We’re looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for children and adolescents to join our Pediatric & Family Center. Demand for pediatric services is growing, and this is an opportunity to help shape a program that our community needs.
Who We Are
Journey is a locally owned, psychiatric nurse practitioner-led practice built around a belief: people deserve to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their care.
Our practice brings together psychiatric providers, therapists, ADHD services, nutrition support, and interventional treatments. We look beyond a single symptom to understand how mental health affects a person’s relationships, school, work, physical health, and everyday life.
With locations serving the Trinity/New Port Richey and Palm Harbor communities, a dedicated Center for ADHD, and our Pediatric & Family Center, we’re building a place where patients can find connected care and clinicians can do work they’re proud of.
Our leadership values are Guard. Empower. Serve.
We aim to protect the quality of care, empower our team, and serve our community with compassion and accountability.
Why Build Your Career at Journey?
- Be part of an award-winning team. Join a practice recognized in Tampa Bay’s “Best of the Best” awards for both Group Practice and Holistic Practice.

- Have a voice in what we build. Bring your ideas for pediatric services, family education, and clinical programs.
- Collaborate across disciplines. Work alongside psychiatric providers, therapists, and support staff who contribute different perspectives and expertise.
- Get operational support. Dedicated intake, scheduling, billing, and patient care coordination staff help support your daily work.
- Grow with an expanding practice. We’re investing in services and programs that give patients more options and our team opportunities to contribute.

- Patient and caregiver education.
- Collaboration with therapists, psychiatric colleagues, and outside professionals when appropriate.
