About this role
Description
At Jimerson Birr, our team has accepted the lasting responsibility of protecting our clients’ rights, businesses, properties, investments, and finances.
Our professionals are integral, trusted advisers and advocates in both established and emerging businesses, giving our clients insights into legal and business considerations that guide prudent decision-making. We work with some of the world’s most respected and well-established businesses, as well as start-up visionaries, and individuals looking to overcome challenges.
About the Role
The Marketing Coordinator owns the credibility layer of the firm’s marketing. Every channel sends prospects to look Jimerson Birr up, and what they find is decided here: earned press, current attorney profiles, awards, and a live social presence. This seat also owns distribution, because content that is published but not distributed is a cost rather than an asset.
You will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and help attorneys carry out their approved business plans, so that each attorney’s marketing activity actually happens.
The firm’s headline measure for this work is total matters by business source. Your output is reviewed through the Digital Marketing Manager’s scorecard.
This is your seat if:* You can run many parallel requests to deadline without needing supervision.
- You can tell which earned activity supports our positioning and which is vanity.
- You write and edit with care, and you are alert to Bar compliance in public-facing content.
- You keep calendars, asset libraries, and platform records tidy so nothing falls through.
Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do* Earn third-party credibility: develop pitch angles, place stories with media, own the awards and recognition submission calendar, and coordinate public relations with campaign timing.
- Keep every attorney’s public profile current, consistent, and compliant across the website, directories, and LinkedIn, including biographies, speaking materials, headshots, and credentials.
- Run traditional marketing and collateral: coordinate advertising and collateral with vendors under brand standards, and keep decks, one-sheets, and client-facing materials current on positioning and pricing.
- Own social posting and distribution: run the day-to-day social calendar within the channel strategy, decide repurposing formats and timing, and route creative through the Bar clearance path.
- Support attorney business plan execution: help attorneys with speaking, blogs, prospect work, and client upsells, and assemble responses to requests for proposal and panel invitations.
- Maintain the marketing calendar, asset libraries, and campaign files, and provide overflow logistics support for firm events.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What You’ll Bring* Public relations and media judgment, with the ability to tell which earned activity matters.
- Social media management, content repurposing, and strong writing and editing skills.
- Event logistics support and vendor coordination.
- Calendar, asset library, and platform discipline.
- Attorney and stakeholder management, with Bar compliance awareness.
