About the Role

Are you a tech-savvy, creative self-starter who loves both marketing and helping people? Jim Clark Chevrolet is seeking an energetic and versatile Sales Assistant / Digital Marketer to showcase our vehicle inventory, elevate our online presence, and deliver exceptional post-sale technology support to our customers.

In this dynamic role, you will bridge digital marketing, in-person customer support, and dealership culture—capturing high-quality vehicle photography & video, creating engaging digital content, assisting customers with vehicle technology, and coordinating dealership events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Photography & Digital Merchandising
  • Take high-quality, complete photo and video sets of new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Utilize photo editing software and AI background enhancement tools to produce polished, retail-ready listing assets.
  • Ensure website inventory listings are updated promptly with accurate photos, video walkarounds, and visual details.
  • Digital Marketing & Content Creation
  • Design digital marketing materials, including website sliders, promotional campaign graphics, and landing page banners.
  • Edit visual graphics to highlight active dealership specials, manufacturer incentives, and seasonal offers.
  • Develop and publish creative content for social media channels and write engaging blog posts for the dealership website.
  • Customer Tech Support & Sales Staff Assistance
  • Assist sales consultants by acting as the dealership’s in-house vehicle technology specialist.
  • Help customers set up and pair Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and mobile owner apps post-sale.
  • Walk customers through basic infotainment troubleshooting, setting preferences, and explaining feature navigation.
  • Dealership Atmosphere & Event Coordination
  • Decorate and style the showroom and lounge areas for holidays, seasonal promotional themes, and events.
  • Coordinate internal culture initiatives, including customer and team treat days, holiday celebrations, and giveaways.
  • Represent the dealership at sponsored local events, community gatherings, and off-site activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Tech & Vehicle Feature Familiarity: Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of modern smartphone operating systems (iOS & Android) and automotive technology (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth pairing, vehicle app setup).
  • Design & Photo Software: Proficiency in Photoshop, Canva, or comparable graphic editing software. Experience with AI photo editing tools is a plus.
  • Photography & Eye for Detail: Experience taking crisp, well-framed photo and video assets.
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Patient, friendly, and approachable style when explaining tech features to customers of all comfort levels.
  • Organization & Multitasking: Ability to balance photography schedules, digital design deadlines, and walk-in customer tech support requests smoothly.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required to move and position vehicles safely).
