Remote Sales Representative — Commercial Electrical & Service

Overview

JC Electric is a growing electrical contractor based in Whittier, California, specializing in retail tenant improvements, commercial projects, and electrical service work.

We’re looking for a motivated sales professional who knows how to turn a conversation into an opportunity—and follows through. You’ll work directly with the owner, receive company-provided leads, and help develop lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Contact and qualify company-provided leads.
• Follow up on proposals, reconnect with past customers, and help secure new work.
• Build relationships with general contractors, property managers, facility managers, and business owners.
• Generate additional opportunities through outreach and referrals.
• Coordinate with our estimating team to gather project information and move opportunities toward an award.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, follow-ups, and next steps.
• Provide a weekly update on sales activity, opportunities, and results.

Qualifications

• Sales or business development experience in electrical contracting, construction, commercial services, or a related industry.
• Strong phone, email, relationship-building, and closing skills.
• Consistent follow-through and the ability to work independently.
• Comfort with cold outreach and longer construction sales cycles.
• A reliable computer, internet connection, and professional workspace.
• Availability to communicate with Southern California customers during Pacific business hours.
• Existing relationships with general contractors or property managers are a plus. Electrical estimating experience is helpful but not required; our team handles estimating and technical pricing.

Pay: $54,900.00 - $66,200.00 per year

Work Location: In person
