Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

• Location: Providence, RI 02903
• Pay range: $75.00 - $77.00 per hour
• Contract: 13 weeks, with possible extension
• Shift: Nights | 36 or 48 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend, holidays, and floating assignments

Job Summary

We are is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Telemetry contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in ensuring high-quality care through accurate assessments, timely interventions, and collaborative teamwork.

This position requires an active RN license, Telemetry experience, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Applicants must be available for the specified shift and schedule.

Duties

• Attach electrodes and monitor equipment that tracks a patient's heart rate, rhythm (EKG/ECG), and vital parameters from a bedside or central station.
• Analyze telemetry strips and recognize irregular heart patterns, warning physicians or rapid response teams immediately if a patient's condition changes.
• Give prescribed cardiac drugs, anticoagulants, and intravenous therapies while closely tracking patient reactions.
• Perform regular physical checks, evaluate pain, and manage daily care like wound dressing, hygiene, and mobility assistance.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Rhode Island/Compact)
• 2+ Years of RN Telemetry experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Availability for night shifts, alternating weekends, holidays, and floating assignments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $75.00 - $77.00 per hour
