Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-PT Chandler

**An Updated Cover Letter and Resume required at time of applying** Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking a Part-Time Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multi-specialty oncology practice in the East Valley. In this role, you’ll partner closely with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care while supporting patients throughout their cancer journey.

This position will work approximately 2-3 days per week in our Chandler location. **BREAST CANCER EXPERIENCE PREFERRED** Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Patient Care* Perform patient assessments, medical histories, and physical exams

• Manage oncology and chronic conditions, including treatment side effects
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, EKGs)
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope

Collaboration & Care Delivery* Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams

• Provide patient education on treatment plans and self-care
• Support timely, coordinated patient care across clinic and hospital settings

Patient Experience* Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

• Develop survivorship care plans
• Build strong relationships with patients and families

Qualifications* Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Arizona through the Arizona State Board of Medical Examiners.

• Current DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification
• Oncology Required and Breast Cancer Experience Preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
