Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SDET / Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, Java development, Playwright, and microservices testing. The ideal candidate will have experience designing scalable automation frameworks, performing API and UI testing, and working within Agile development environments.
This role requires hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, cloud technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Test Automation, Software Development, or Quality Engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory), Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, PACT.IO, and Cucumber BDD.
- Strong understanding of UI, API, Web Services, and Microservices Testing.
- Experience with Angular, React, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience building scalable automation frameworks.
- Expertise in CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience with JSON/XML validation, API automation, and database testing.
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB and DB2 databases.
- Ability to convert user stories into Gherkin scenarios and automate BDD test cases.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience testing cloud-based applications on AWS.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and microservices testing.
- Create and execute automated test cases using Playwright, Selenium, and REST Assured.
- Validate application functionality, performance, and integration across distributed systems.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to define test strategies.
- Develop BDD test scenarios using Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Perform database validation and backend testing using MongoDB and DB2.
- Execute cloud application testing in AWS environments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
