AWS Solutions Architect

The person should have strong hands-on AWS and Kubernetes experience and be able to guide our existing team through the migration.

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of cloud/infrastructure experience with strong AWS skills.
• Good hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience migrating workloads from OpenShift to AWS EKS or similar Kubernetes platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS networking, VPC, IAM, DNS, certificates, security, load balancing, and monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, and Argo CD.
• Ability to define the target architecture, identify risks, and guide the team through implementation.
• Good troubleshooting skills, especially for production issues and performance problems.
• Ability to mentor the team and help them become comfortable working with AWS independently.
• Experience with IBM App Connect, API Connect, MQ, and ITX would be a plus.
• The person should be hands-on and able to work closely with the team, rather than focusing only on architecture documents.
